Cowan's Virtual Office

For several months we have been working diligently on setting up a virtual real estate office. We have learned so much, but the work has been worth it. As with many things in life, a great effort on the front end of a project will make things run smoothly.

Our server allows any Cowan associate to work from home and dial into our system remotely...all they need is an internet connection!

Our server is a shared network for our associates and is a place where they can access any work related documents and client data. We strive to be a paperless office, so all of our contracts and listing documents are scanned and saved to the server. No running back to the office for a file. If a client needs a copy of a document it is just a couple of clicks and it is on its way via email.

It’s all there on the server. The server is backed up every night, keeping the documents safe and secure. In addition our associates have a library of marketing templates; postcards, letterheads, and ad templates for various publications on the server.

We also have a virtual receptionist that is available to answer calls 24 hours a day. The receptionist will route the calls to the appropriate associate.

We utilize e-faxing services as a solution to our faxing needs. All our faxes are sent and received right to our email! It’s so incredibly easy.

We love the virtual office, but also value in personal communication with clients. The Cowan Group has an office at The Gallery on Market Street. This space is the perfect place to meet with clients and to do any research required. There is a PC and an All-In-One printer/copier/fax/scanner, and Hopkins Eatery downstairs for a great lunch!
